In the 12th minute Rene Bernal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Pitin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Pitin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Marques, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rene Bernal in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorio Pitin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santiago Marques hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Santiago Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Honorio Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Santiago Marques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 30 minutes into the game, Perchel AFC's Feliberto Javiero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Honorio Pitin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 37 played minutes Hijo Nuestro Moriras F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Constancio. After recieving a nice pass, Perchel AFC's Gaston Ixaka tried to score from far away in the 37th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Rene Bernal might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorio Pitin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Bernal ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes in the game, Santiago Marques dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Rene Bernal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Honorio Pitin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Bernal to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Perchel AFC's Santiago Marques ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Honorio Pitin. Honorio Pitin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Santiago Marques sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd match minute, Hijo Nuestro Moriras F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gregorio Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Marques got free with Honorio Pitin in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
