In the 21st minute of the match, Celso Donio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Inocencio Paz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mauricio Duardo during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tolkien Fútbol Club's Mauricio Duardo got a free kick in the 23rd minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Inocencio Paz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolkien Fútbol Club's Mauricio Duardo got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Mauricio Duardo off the ground. Mauricio Duardo hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Leonides Innocenzio came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Sátiros FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonides Innocenzio couldn't finish the play. Celso Donio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodrigo Llorenc was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Gaitan got free with Bruno Egoitz in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Paz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celso Donio in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Celso Donio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute Celso Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Paz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sátiros FC's Celso Donio got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zeledon Chucho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Inocencio Paz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
