Spectators: 7451 (Terracing: 5590, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Inocencio Oliveiro started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Cañani's Inocencio Oliveiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Macho Mann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Lino Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Macho Mann having to make a save. If Inocencio Oliveiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Girondo FC's Norbert Gacki suffered a concussion in the 9th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 10 minutes into the game, Inocencio Oliveiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cañani's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Girondo FC the free kick. A collision led to Cañani getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Inocencio Oliveiro hit a great ball. Girondo FC's Macho Mann proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Girondo FC from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in Cañani's zone, Nicasio Elazar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Urko came out of the goal and Nicasio Elazar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the match, Cañani's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Elazar came free, but Nicanor Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Inocencio Oliveiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Macho Mann, 2-0. After 22 minutes of play, Cañani's Inocencio Oliveiro made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Macho Mann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Macho Mann was out of position in the 24 minute of play, and Lino Estevez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lino Estevez really showed his touch with that goal: 4-0. 28 minutes into the match, Inocencio Oliveiro notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Girondo FC's Macho Mann. Macho Mann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Macho Mann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lino Estevez went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. Macho Mann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7-0 became the score in the 36th minute when Inocencio Oliveiro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After 39 played minutes Cañani got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Gabon. Macho Mann was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Inocencio Oliveiro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 8-0 in the 43 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 9-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Jaen to make the kick off. Girondo FC's Macho Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Acuña in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Evelio Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Macho Mann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Girondo FC defense, Raul Sedeni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macho Mann. The Girondo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macho Mann should have stopped the shot. Girondo FC's Macho Mann played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Acuña in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Inocencio Oliveiro in the 68th minute of play forced Girondo FC's goalkeeper Macho Mann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Macho Mann took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Casimiro Acuña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 70 minutes into the game, Victor Fonso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 12-0. Macho Mann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Macho Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Estevez in the 79th minute of the match. Inocencio Oliveiro scored 14-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Macho Mann, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inocencio Oliveiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macho Mann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Inocencio Oliveiro in the 85th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Girondo FC defense, Raul Sedeni kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Macho Mann. The Girondo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Macho Mann should have stopped the shot. After 89 minutes, Gert Rijkaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Girondo FC and the Cañani players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Girondo FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gert Rijkaard hit a great ball. Nicanor Urko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Venancio Jaen went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 15-1 was the resulting score. 97 minutes into the game, Casimiro Acuña cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-1. Macho Mann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cañani's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
