After having played for 9 minutes, Tadeo Gabon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarmiento de Junin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Gabon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Evaristo Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Gabon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Mikki Jønler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Del Piero 10's zone, Robustiano Sandaili stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mikki Jønler came out of the goal and Robustiano Sandaili tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 15th minute of the game. One of Del Piero 10:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sarmiento de Junin:s goal. Mikki Jønler had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Robustiano Sandaili's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Sarmiento de Junin fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Sarmiento de Junin's Tadeo Gabon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Robustiano Sandaili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarmiento de Junin's supporters rose to their feet, but Robustiano Sandaili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mikki Jønler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25th minute, Tadeo Gabon made a precise shot to the right of Mikki Jønler. Del Piero 10's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Roque Oxarra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeo Gabon in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mikki Jønler saved Del Piero 10 from getting behind. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Tadeo Gabon sped through Del Piero 10's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mikki Jønler. In the 40th minute Tadeo Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikki Jønler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Tadeo Gabon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mikki Jønler. Del Piero 10's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Gabon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After a rather tough play, Del Piero 10's Genaro Oskarbi got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Del Piero 10 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Sarmiento de Junin were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Gabon to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento de Junin's zone, Genaro Oskarbi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Boshuis came out of the goal and Genaro Oskarbi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Severo Bero came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Sarmiento de Junin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severo Bero couldn't finish the play. When Sarmiento de Junin's Tadeo Gabon in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Del Piero 10's goalie prevented a goal. Mikki Jønler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tadeo Gabon went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Robustiano Sandaili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Mikki Jønler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sarmiento de Junin's Tadeo Gabon in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mikki Jønler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Gabon in the 82nd minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Del Piero 10's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Gabon came free, but Mikki Jønler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Sarmiento de Junin's Evaristo Mano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-10.
