Boca Juniors's Eustaquio Javiar proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Atlético Hacha were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after Boca Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Evelio Meder took the corner. The corner led Atlético Hacha's Jose Llorienzo to a score. 1-1 in the 20th minute. Christian Deunoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Rojelio went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Christian Deunoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Dino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After 31 minutes of play, Atlético Hacha's Jose Llorienzo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eustaquio Javiar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Christian Deunoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Rojelio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian Deunoro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zachary Iwanowski went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Atlético Hacha defense, Raimundo Rojelio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Deunoro. The Atlético Hacha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Deunoro should have stopped the shot.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Rojelio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jose Llorienzo in the 54th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute of the match Atlético Hacha got a corner. Boca Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. With an all-out effort, Boca Juniors's Christian Deunoro threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ciro Bazkoare, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Atlético Hacha fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boca Juniors were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
