Ramiro Silban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Virgilio Estevon in the 25th minute of the match. Luciano Bianco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Leoncio in the 28th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Virgilio Estevon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ramiro Silban, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Leoncio in the 38th minute of play forced Churriaca AFC's goalkeeper Luciano Bianco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Churriaca AFC's zone, Ramiro Piorno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luciano Bianco came out of the goal and Ramiro Piorno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Bianco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Piorno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Astigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Saturnino Obano fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Churriaca AFC's protests and gave Saturnino Obano a yellow card for diving instead. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
