Herminio Dodorol hit a great ball. In the 5th match minute, Diamante FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mateo Harri to maneuver through the defense. Jeremias Silban was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 7 minutes into the match. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for Diamante FC. Bernardino Ireno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danilo Nofre. 0-1. Angel Chap received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Danilo Nofre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Yacuchirí's goal looked a bit too open when Herminio Dodorol came free, but Danilo Nofre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Yacuchirí's zone, Bernardino Ireno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Nofre came out of the goal and Bernardino Ireno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Danilo Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Yacuchirí's Eulalio Afonso managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pablo Erruki in the 23 minute of the game. Benedicto Caradaro struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Silverio Jerrold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yacuchirí. Silverio Jerrold made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benedicto Caradaro in the 30th minute. Danilo Nofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herminio Dodorol, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Augusto Abadie during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Yacuchirí's Danilo Nofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Harri in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benedicto Caradaro to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Diamante FC's Danilo Nofre threw himself towards the right post 56 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herminio Pasqual, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Lucio Felo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Yacuchirí's Danilo Nofre got control of the ball when Herminio Dodorol tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute Mateo Harri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Caradaro in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Jerrold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Silverio Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedicto Caradaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benedicto Caradaro in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. After 80 minutes, Jacinto Isusko mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yacuchirí and the Diamante FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Diamante FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Diamante FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
