Vicente Joanes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Benicio Markel's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Bernard Gabis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Celedonio Cuartio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Lop, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Venancio Caton could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Bernard Gabis made a huge save. Teodosio Lop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Teodosio Lop shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Cuartio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Los Inundados del Docke's Venancio Caton got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bernard Gabis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Sayvion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodosio Sayvion to make the kick off. Edgard Bermudo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Lop in the 71st minute of play forced Los Inundados del Docke's goalkeeper Celedonio Cuartio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Los Inundados del Docke booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urbano Balasi didn't get a good kick on the ball.
