In the 3rd minute, Bernardo Senen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Serafin Mikelats scored 0-1 in the 4th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inocencio Chano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Inocencio Chano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Mikelats, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes, Ulises Eduino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Azcuenaga and the Traful F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Azcuenaga! Ramiro Mitxaut walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Bernardo Senen struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Inocencio Chano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Traful F.C. If Higinio Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 19 minutes of play, Traful F.C's Serafin Mikelats made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Chano was left in no man's land by his defense there! The throw-in from Delmiro Libertad in the 24th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Traful F.C's Leandro Rameriz. Inocencio Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Senen in the 26th minute of the match. If Serafin Mikelats had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Azcuenaga's zone, Bernardo Senen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Chano came out of the goal and Bernardo Senen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Traful F.C's Serafin Mikelats got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Traful F.C's Bernardo Senen nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Inocencio Chano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Monte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Serafin Mikelats kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Azcuenaga's goalkeeper Inocencio Chano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Bernardo Senen notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Azcuenaga's Inocencio Chano. Inocencio Chano was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bernardo Senen took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Chano. Inocencio Chano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Bernardo Senen kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 70thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Azcuenaga's keeper Inocencio Chano was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Bernardo Senen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Inocencio Chano made a huge save. In the 78th minute, Apolo Cebrian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mauricio Fagildo in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Inocencio Chano saved Azcuenaga from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauricio Fagildo in the 88th minute of play forced Azcuenaga's goalkeeper Inocencio Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inocencio Chano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Fagildo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Mauricio Fagildo took a quick shot and it went in 0-8 without a chance for Inocencio Chano to make any attempt to save it.
