Santo Marino hit a great ball. 24 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Fernandes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dionisio Iraido. Charatas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Fernandes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Froilan Dolfo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dionisio Iraido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Diego Remigio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saul Mannie went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 32nd match minute, Procyon ᶠᶜ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Sansone to maneuver through the defense. Jacobo Gaskon's late challenge caught a Procyon ᶠᶜ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jacobo Gaskon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, Charatas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Procyon ᶠᶜ's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Mannie came free, but Diego Remigio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

If Froilan Dolfo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Iraido having to interfere. Dionisio Iraido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froilan Dolfo in the 70th minute of play. With 72 minutes on the clock, Rogelio Lizardi commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Saturnino Flor struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Dionisio Iraido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Procyon ᶠᶜ. In the 76th minute, Arnoldo Gaskon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Charatas FC's Raimundo Panfilo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Cristo Sansone in the 83 minute of the game. Saul Mannie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
