Cirilo Segio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo's Marco Nahia got a free kick in the 14th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godfredo Petri in the 20th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Cirilo Segio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Filiberto Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Tucu-Tucu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filiberto Chale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cirilo Segio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Chale in the 26th minute of the match. 34 minutes into the game, Los Tucu-Tucu's Lastur Abeitia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Segio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Baldovino in the 38th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Cirilo Segio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Cuarto to maneuver through the defense. If Lastur Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jan Brask made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Bertol in the 48th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Leo Bertol made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Los Tucu-Tucu's Teodoro Baldovino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cirilo Segio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. San Lorenzo's Cirilo Segio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lastur Abeitia in the 56th minute of play. Los Tucu-Tucu were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after San Lorenzo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godfredo Petri took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Miguel Nalo heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Cirilo Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lastur Abeitia in the 59th minute of play. Lastur Abeitia struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Cirilo Segio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Tucu-Tucu. Cirilo Segio came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Los Tucu-Tucu's Filiberto Chale. But to his dismay, Filiberto Chale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Teodoro Baldovino came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cirilo Segio could save by the left post. Los Tucu-Tucu's Filiberto Chale got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. San Lorenzo's Cirilo Segio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save San Lorenzo from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Teodoro Baldovino could shoot a difficult shot in the 77th minute, which Cirilo Segio however easily saved by the left post. Cirilo Segio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Chale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Lico's late challenge caught a Los Tucu-Tucu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Lico helped the player get up and apologised. In the 81st match minute, San Lorenzo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Lico to maneuver through the defense. Teodoro Baldovino took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cirilo Segio. Cirilo Segio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Chale in the 88th minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Cirilo Segio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Los Tucu-Tucu played a much better game than San Lorenzo and deserved their victory. The San Lorenzo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
