Cristo Lucian might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anastasio Janpier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristo Lucian ran back to his position shaking his head. Anastasio Janpier made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Cristo Lucian sent off a good shot on target. Matías Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dong Xiong Sang in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Los Playmobil FC booed when Marlin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janich Jersie didn't get a good kick on the ball. The corner led Los Playmobil FC's Ildefonso Platini to fire away a dangerous shot which Anastasio Janpier despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matías Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Panpili in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Panpili to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dionisio Panpili got free with Matías Patrone in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 57th minute, Giovanni Rana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes Marlin FC got a freekick which was hit by Janich Jersie. Dong Xiong Sang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matías Patrone came out and tried to block the shot, but Dong Xiong Sang slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 62nd minute. Los Playmobil FC made a substitution. Edmundo Mendes replaced Cristo Lucian. Marlin FC's Arnoldo Loiola was substituted for Fernando Ciano. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Marlin FC's goalkeeper Anastasio Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Marlin FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
