In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Llandudno's goalkeeper Siencyn Head, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nissyen Kidder in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siencyn Head saved Llandudno from getting behind. 20 minutes into the match, Llangollen's goalkeeper Ceri Hewitt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gusg Brazier. Taffy Gettins kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Llandudno's goal looked a bit too open when Rhyd Kennyon came free, but Siencyn Head reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siencyn Head made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Padrig Ingersoll in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Conwy Latham made the kick off in the second half. Nissyen Kidder's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siencyn Head read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Caddoc Lavars's late challenge caught a Llangollen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Caddoc Lavars helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 minutes Llandudno's goalkeeper Siencyn Head managed, with a little bit of luck, save Cas Burleson's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Llangollen's Cas Burleson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Siencyn Head. That made the score 0-2 after 63 minutes of play. If Rhyd Kennyon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Llandudno getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Gusg Brazier hit a great ball. Ceri Hewitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gusg Brazier went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Gusg Brazier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Nissyen Kidder came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Llangollen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nissyen Kidder couldn't finish the play.
