Mabon Keelan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. In the 33rd match minute, Swansea University F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Ilica to maneuver through the defense. After 36 minutes of play, Swansea University F.C's Flavius Ilica made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The corner ended in Greid Bowen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Neath's Mabon Keelan did a great save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Collen Forsyth got free with Octavio Manilan in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Swansea University F.C's Armando Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-8 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Berth Ammon made the kick off in the second half. Mabon Keelan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iestyn Gorman during the 67th minute. Blathaon Farthing tried in the game's 73rd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Mabon Keelan. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neath's goalkeeper Mabon Keelan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Flavius Ilica in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mabon Keelan saved Neath from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Swansea University F.C's Flavius Ilica dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-16. The Neath fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Swansea University F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
