LINHAGEM FC's Angélico Castelo Branco got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, LINHAGEM FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Sarabia came free, but Dove Madec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, LINHAGEM FC's Angélico Castelo Branco made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Löfgren in the 52nd minute of play forced Marialva S.C.'s goalkeeper Fernando Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LINHAGEM FC were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Marialva S.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Zacarias Brás took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Chumo Resines got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fernando Tinoco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Angélico Castelo Branco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Fernando Tinoco when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eric Löfgren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 65 minutes, Angélico Castelo Branco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LINHAGEM FC and the Marialva S.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, LINHAGEM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angélico Castelo Branco to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the game, Eric Löfgren recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fernando Tinoco. Fernando Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angélico Castelo Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Fernando Tinoco managed to avoid a goal in the 91stth minute, when LINHAGEM FC's Angélico Castelo Branco fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fernando Tinoco made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Angélico Castelo Branco sent off a good shot on target. If Eric Löfgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The LINHAGEM FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
