The shot was a little too simple and Perry Duffield could save by the left post. Reggie Sharples fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Perry Duffield having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reggie Sharples got free with Perry Duffield in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stansted FC's Perry Duffield proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Stansted FC from getting a goal against them. Joshua Senior recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 26 in the game by Joshua Senior from a close distance when the talented Perry Duffield managed to make a qualified save. Stansted FC's players were relieved. Jonathan Colbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Noel Moss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bicester getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Larry Bodsworth hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Bicester's goal looked a bit too open when Vance Phippard came free, but Noel Moss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vance Phippard in the 43rd minute of play forced Bicester's goalkeeper Noel Moss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonathan Colbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Noel Moss read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Reggie Sharples stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reggie Sharples in the 59th minute of play forced Stansted FC's goalkeeper Perry Duffield to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bicester's Noel Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Booker in the 62nd minute of play. If Joshua Senior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ozzy Booker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bicester's Noel Moss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ozzy Booker in the 72nd minute of play. In the 77th minute Ozzy Booker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Moss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Bicester got a freekick which was hit by Jude Bloom. After having played for 88 minutes, Joshua Senior managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bicester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joshua Senior was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perry Duffield showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reggie Sharples, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Perry Duffield made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reggie Sharples in the 94th minute of play. Joshua Senior received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Perry Duffield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bicester had won after a very even match.
