In the 6th minute Brynn Dalby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luke Newlyn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, FIVE Wizards's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Scrivener came free, but Luke Newlyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luke Newlyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Scrivener in the 13th minute of play forced FIVE Wizards's goalkeeper Luke Newlyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, FIVE Wizards's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Scrivener came free, but Luke Newlyn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Noel Everett made in the 17th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Marcus Scrivener however managed to control. After 18 minutes, Brynn Dalby made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. FIVE Wizards's Luke Newlyn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Liam Langley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Howard, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. If Brynn Dalby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Chadwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luke Newlyn having to interfere. Luke Newlyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 34th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcus Scrivener was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Wally Grayson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Dersingham City's Ethan Best dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Luke Newlyn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ethan Best, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Newlyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ethan Best in the 67th minute of play. Brynn Dalby's late challenge caught a FIVE Wizards's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brynn Dalby helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Dersingham City got a freekick which was hit by Brynn Dalby. Marcus Scrivener received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Luke Newlyn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 76 minutes, Marcus Scrivener managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dersingham City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Scrivener was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luke Newlyn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Scrivener in the 80th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcus Scrivener in the 82nd minute of play forced FIVE Wizards's goalkeeper Luke Newlyn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luke Newlyn made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Brynn Dalby sent off a good shot on target. Howard Howard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Newlyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brynn Dalby in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the game, Brynn Dalby recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luke Newlyn. Brynn Dalby showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4.
