Spectators: 7867 (Terracing: 5902, Seating: 1809, VIP seats: 156) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gejza Bartošík started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marián Čambal in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibor Dernár prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 22 minutes, Ján Vasko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sliepkovce's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ján Vasko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marián Čambal in the 26th minute of play forced Sliepkovce's goalkeeper Tibor Dernár to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th match minute, Sentenced snails FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivan Grohovský to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Sliepkovce's Peter Keltoš broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sliepkovce's zone, Marián Čambal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tibor Dernár came out of the goal and Marián Čambal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Sliepkovce's goal looked a bit too open when Marián Čambal came free, but Tibor Dernár reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Mojmír Ligárt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tibor Dernár was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ľubomír Jurkech charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ľubomír Jurkech the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Sliepkovce booed when Sentenced snails FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ľubomír Jurkech didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marián Čambal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sentenced snails FC's Marek Miženko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Sentenced snails FC from getting a goal against them. Sentenced snails FC's Marián Čambal got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Sentenced snails FC's Mojmír Ligárt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tibor Dernár narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tibor Dernár showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marián Čambal, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Štefan Machava took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tibor Dernár. Sliepkovce's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Mojmír Ligárt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tibor Dernár. Sliepkovce's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mojmír Ligárt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 75th minute, Sliepkovce's Gejza Bartošík dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. After 79 minutes of play, Sliepkovce's Peter Keltoš made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marek Miženko was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mojmír Ligárt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tibor Dernár made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mojmír Ligárt in the 90th minute of play. In the 92nd minute of the match Štefan Machava shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tibor Dernár showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ján Vasko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
