After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gustáv Kučera managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hunkovce's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustáv Kučera was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ján Strobo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kamil Liguš in the 14th minute of play forced BMI's goalkeeper Ján Strobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Róbert Kohút in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antón Písecký saved Hunkovce from getting behind. If Róbert Kohút had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hunkovce's zone, Marek Imrek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antón Písecký came out of the goal and Marek Imrek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ľubomír Duďak fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hunkovce's protests and gave Ľubomír Duďak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BMI's goalkeeper Ján Strobo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 29th minute Gustáv Kučera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ján Strobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kamil Liguš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee gave BMI a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ľubomír Krajčík, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hunkovce's Antón Písecký. 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

A collision led to Hunkovce getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Henrich Mayer hit a great ball. In the 60th minute, Marek Imrek made a precise shot to the right of Antón Písecký. Hunkovce's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Róbert Kohút received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Antón Písecký tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. BMI's defense didn't have a chance, in the 72nd minute, when Kamil Liguš scored to the left of an out of position Ján Strobo, making the score, 2-3. In the 75th minute Róbert Kohút shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antón Písecký saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 77 minutes of play, BMI's Róbert Kohút made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antón Písecký was left in no man's land by his defense there!
