Spectators: 7368 (Terracing: 5527, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 147) FC Gunpower's Jan-Ove Sandberg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andréas Melander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Börje Lindkvist in the 5th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joachim Säf during the 5th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 5 played minutes FC Gunpower got a freekick which was hit by Joachim Säf. The supporters of BK Björkris booed when FC Gunpower was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johannes Berglund didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Krister Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK Björkris's supporters rose to their feet, but Krister Brander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andréas Melander breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 27 played minutes FC Gunpower got a freekick which was hit by Ulf Tham. Sivert Vennerström's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 28thth minute, Andréas Melander skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Börje Lindkvist scored 1-0 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Andréas Melander, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the game, Jan-Ove Sandberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Gunpower's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK Björkris the free kick. Sivert Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 41 minutes, Börje Lindkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Björkris's supporters crossed their fingers, but Börje Lindkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sivert Vennerström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sivert Vennerström made a kick off. Andréas Melander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sivert Vennerström went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sivert Vennerström in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andréas Melander saved FC Gunpower from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Lindkvist in the 57th minute of play forced FC Gunpower's goalkeeper Andréas Melander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, BK Björkris's goalkeeper Åke Mogren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fredrik Wahlnäs. Åke Mogren stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan-Ove Sandberg's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. FC Gunpower's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sivert Vennerström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Börje Lindkvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andréas Melander was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. After having played for 70 minutes, Johannes Berglund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andréas Melander stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sivert Vennerström's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the game, Sivert Vennerström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Andréas Melander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 84 minutes into the match, Calle Östman notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Gunpower's Andréas Melander. Andréas Melander was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
