Yngve Hagberg showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 10th match minute, Powerpuffpinglorna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Axel Kämpe to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Torgny Larsson from long distance, 11 minutes into the match, got Per-Arne Lundström's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Rudolf Collin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johannes Vollander, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Powerpuffpinglorna booed when Kroksjöbo FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Torgny Larsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl-Axel Kämpe hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Powerpuffpinglorna's Gunnar Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Johannes Vollander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rudolf Collin having to interfere. Kjell Strömberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Rudolf Collin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Powerpuffpinglorna's zone, Yngve Hagberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Per-Arne Lundström came out of the goal and Yngve Hagberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jens-Erik Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yngve Hagberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Per-Arne Lundström having to interfere. Kroksjöbo FF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Powerpuffpinglorna the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kroksjöbo FF's Vidar Brenner got a free kick in the 46th minute. Rune Viberg came free in the 48th minute and tried to tip the ball over Rudolf Collin, but to the joy of Kroksjöbo FF's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gunnar Jansson made the kick off in the second half. Rudolf Collin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 53rd minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Jens-Erik Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kroksjöbo FF's supporters rose to their feet, but Jens-Erik Abrahamsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Per-Arne Lundström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rudolf Collin didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 68th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Per-Arne Lundström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Jens-Erik Abrahamsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Powerpuffpinglorna's Gunnar Jansson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rudolf Collin. Rudolf Collin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. Yngve Hagberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 93rd minute, Kjell Strömberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Erik Abrahamsson in the 94th minute of play forced Powerpuffpinglorna's goalkeeper Per-Arne Lundström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Per-Arne Lundström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Erik Abrahamsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Powerpuffpinglorna walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
