Spectators: 7289 (Terracing: 5469, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Ingvar Söderqwist started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Köpmanholmen's Ove Kullgren got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 17th minute Robin Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Collin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Köpmanholmen's Tobias Waller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Köpmanholmen from getting a goal against them. Herman Collin came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Köpmanholmen's Jonny Haeger. But to his dismay, Jonny Haeger quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilbert Torsberg during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gilbert Torsberg kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Mathias Ersman struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Tobias Waller didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borås BK. Ingvar Söderqwist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Robin Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Collin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, Jonny Haeger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Köpmanholmen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Robin Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Collin having to interfere. After the first half Köpmanholmen were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mathias Ersman might have been able to make a better finish in the 52nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tobias Waller. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mathias Ersman ran back to his position shaking his head. 56 minutes into the match, Borås BK's goal looked a bit too open when Robin Pettersson came free, but Herman Collin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Köpmanholmen's Tobias Waller played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Ersman in the 57th minute of play. In the 60th minute Hampus Pettersson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herman Collin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Herman Collin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Pettersson in the 61st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Haeger got free with Herman Collin in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Borås BK's Herman Collin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Borås BK from getting a goal against them. When Mathias Ersman came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Borås BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Ersman couldn't finish the play. Borås BK's Ingvar Söderqwist got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonny Haeger got free with Herman Collin in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin Pettersson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herman Collin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Borås BK's zone, Jonny Haeger stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herman Collin came out of the goal and Jonny Haeger tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Borås BK's Herman Collin got control of the ball when Jonny Haeger tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Köpmanholmen supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Köpmanholmen would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
