Sven Ryberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mats Hökkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mats Hökkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven Ryberg in the 61st minute of play. Sven Ryberg was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Säffle's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Åke Allbom got free with Mats Hökkvist in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 71st minute, Sven Ryberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 73rd minute of the match, Åke Allbom got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mats Hökkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Säffle's Jonny Eckegren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Berg in the 75th minute of play.
