Bo Lindberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Wiman having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Ove Ödmann was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Berga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skogsgläntan Akademi the free kick. After 8 played minutes Berga got a freekick which was hit by Ove Ödmann. In the 15th minute, Ove Ödmann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stig-Åke Biörkquist scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Pelle Sundberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Skogsgläntan Akademi's Kristian Ödmann got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rune Haraldsson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Tage Dalgren, 26 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Bo Lindberg notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Berga's Erik Wiman. Erik Wiman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, Berga's Erik Wiman got control of the ball when Bo Lindberg tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aaron Lidman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erik Wiman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Stig-Åke Biörkquist managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berga's supporters rose to their feet, but Stig-Åke Biörkquist was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pelle Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Stig-Åke Biörkquist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erik Wiman came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Skogsgläntan Akademi's Aaron Lidman. But to his dismay, Aaron Lidman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. A collision led to Berga getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Stig-Åke Biörkquist hit a great ball. Erik Wiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Lindberg in the 77th minute of the match. If Aaron Lidman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 91 minutes, Aaron Lidman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skogsgläntan Akademi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aaron Lidman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik Wiman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Lidman in the 96th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Berga players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Skogsgläntan Akademi.
