After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Anton Siöman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reaktor Göteborg's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Siöman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Börje Borre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Frank Blomberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Börje Borre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils-Åke Lövskog in the 16th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the game, Reaktor Göteborg's Anton Siöman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Borre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Olle Arvidsson hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Börje Borre didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Siöman went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Börje Borre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Siöman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malcolm Melander to make the kick off. Real Werner CF's Börje Borre proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Real Werner CF from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Siöman got free with Börje Borre in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Joakim Lindblom hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Malcolm Melander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Real Werner CF's zone, Joakim Lindblom stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Börje Borre came out of the goal and Joakim Lindblom tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 70th minute, Reaktor Göteborg's Malcolm Melander ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Börje Borre. Börje Borre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. Reaktor Göteborg's Ulrik Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vilgot Nordström in the 77th minute of play. Börje Borre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joakim Lindblom, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Malcolm Melander came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Reaktor Göteborg fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Malcolm Melander couldn't finish the play. Malcolm Melander might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Börje Borre. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Malcolm Melander ran back to his position shaking his head. Real Werner CF's Börje Borre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malcolm Melander in the 95th minute of play. Olle Arvidsson hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. In the 97th match minute, Real Werner CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingvar Allbom to maneuver through the defense. Despite being the better team, Reaktor Göteborg failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
