With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elof Olsson in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Douglas Damm saved Hammerdal BF from getting behind. Ian Hellsing who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Douglas Damm when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ian Hellsing was the one to do the kick off. The Vretarna Boys fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Vretarna Boys's Ian Hellsing looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
