Paul Öberg charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Emerald Raiders booed when Scruffy Nerfherders was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morgan Alebäck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olov Andreasson came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Emerald Raiders's Paul Öberg. But to his dismay, Paul Öberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Adam Kvalfält's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Olov Andreasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. When Adam Kvalfält came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Emerald Raiders fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Kvalfält couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Morgan Alebäck got free with Josef Nordin in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Emerald Raiders's Johannes Brodin got a free kick in the 27th minute. Olov Andreasson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Kvalfält in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes Emerald Raiders got a freekick which was hit by Johannes Brodin. When Scruffy Nerfherders's Ronny Benett in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 43 minutes, Johannes Brodin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Emerald Raiders and the Scruffy Nerfherders players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 48th minute, Morgan Alebäck fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Josef Nordin, passed just outside the right post. In the 48th minute, Ronny Benett reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Josef Nordin. The goal made the score 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christopher Nilsson made a kick off. Olov Andreasson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Kvalfält, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Morgan Alebäck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josef Nordin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emerald Raiders's Christopher Nilsson got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Olov Andreasson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Kvalfält, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Ronny Benett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Josef Nordin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronny Benett in the 65th minute of play. When Emerald Raiders's Adam Kvalfält in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Scruffy Nerfherders getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jerry Haegg hit a great ball. Emerald Raiders's Josef Nordin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Benett in the 86th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Christopher Nilsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Emerald Raiders fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2.
