Walter Billock breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute Johan Dahlquist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Knutsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The supporters of Preben Bois booed when Köpingsvik IK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernt Lundberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes in the game Alfred Stenkvist did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Boris Ahlberg. In the 42nd minute, Köpingsvik IK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Johan Dahlquist fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Torbjörn Hägg stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Köpingsvik IK's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Pålsson came free, but Casper Knutsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Preben Bois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rio Powell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casper Knutsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johan Dahlquist in the 94th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Preben Bois players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
