But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 史朋辉 couldn't finish the play. 12 minutes into the match, Ragnar Alefors had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Göran Häll. Gästrike-hammarby's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ragnar Alefors was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 16th minute, Roma's Nils-Erik Pil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Göran Häll. Göran Häll yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Kjell Torsberg charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kjell Torsberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Gästrike-hammarby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kjell Torsberg to maneuver through the defense. Göran Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils-Erik Pil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gästrike-hammarby's Göran Häll played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nils-Erik Pil in the 29th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Roma's 史朋辉 made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Göran Häll was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, 史朋辉 took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Göran Häll to make any attempt to save it. In the 36th play minute 史朋辉 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Göran Häll. 8-0. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 9-0 when 史朋辉 sped through Gästrike-hammarby's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Göran Häll. Gästrike-hammarby's Göran Häll proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Gästrike-hammarby from getting a goal against them. With his leg Göran Häll managed to avoid a goal in the 44thth minute, when Roma's 史朋辉 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Göran Häll took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Krister Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kjell Torsberg was the one to do the kick off. 史朋辉 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göran Häll having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Nils-Erik Pil's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göran Häll was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Gästrike-hammarby's Alvar Brovall quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mikael Lund, made in the 63rd minute of the game. 65 minutes into the match, Gästrike-hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when 史朋辉 came free, but Göran Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nils-Erik Pil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Gästrike-hammarby's Vilhelm Ödman got a free kick in the 68th minute. Fausto Manterola took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 69th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Göran Häll. Gästrike-hammarby's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Göran Häll made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 史朋辉 in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Gästrike-hammarby's goal looked a bit too open when 史朋辉 came free, but Göran Häll reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute of the game Krister Fredriksson made a throw-in which Nils-Erik Pil played forward. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 史朋辉 in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Göran Häll saved Gästrike-hammarby from getting behind. Krister Fredriksson took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Göran Häll. Göran Häll dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 12-0. After 85 minutes, Nils-Erik Pil made it 13-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gästrike-hammarby's Göran Häll tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Göran Häll stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 史朋辉's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Roma's Nils-Erik Pil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Göran Häll made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0.
