Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olov Ekenberg started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Youngboys FF's Sven-Oskar Överman got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd match minute, Team Falken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Wahlnäs to maneuver through the defense. Jakob Alebom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Joel Vennerlund when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Svante Olofsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Joel Vennerlund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Svante Olofsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes of play, Team Falken's Christer Jansson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hans Lundin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zebastian Nyqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hans Lundin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Zebastian Nyqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hans Lundin having to interfere. Olov Ekenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Hans Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Wikander's late challenge caught a Team Falken's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Åke Wikander helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Åke Wikander hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leonard Wahlnäs scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hans Lundin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olov Ekenberg in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hans Lundin saved Youngboys FF from getting behind. In the 41st minute Svante Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Vennerlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Vennerlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Svante Olofsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Christer Jansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Falken's supporters rose to their feet, but Christer Jansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Svante Olofsson was the one to do the kick off. Olov Ekenberg blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hans Lundin having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Olov Ekenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team Falken's supporters rose to their feet, but Olov Ekenberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Lundin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Christer Jansson came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Team Falken fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christer Jansson couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Youngboys FF's zone, Olov Ekenberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hans Lundin came out of the goal and Olov Ekenberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Team Falken's Christer Jansson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Hans Lundin. That made the score 0-5 after 61 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Olov Ekenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Lundin was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Team Falken's Christer Jansson got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Olov Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Christer Jansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Åke Wikander hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With his leg Hans Lundin managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Team Falken's Olov Ekenberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hans Lundin stood somewhat misplaced when Olov Ekenberg came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 79 minute. Joel Vennerlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakob Alebom in the 82nd minute of the match. Leonard Wahlnäs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 86 in the game by Olov Ekenberg from a close distance when the talented Hans Lundin managed to make a qualified save. Youngboys FF's players were relieved.
