In the 4th minute of the match Klassisk Framtid got a corner. Arrie Bollklubb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jarl Björling ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 5 minutes, Axel Ståhlberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Klassisk Framtid and the Arrie Bollklubb players grew even worse after the yellow card. Axel Ståhlberg hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Iwo Robak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arrie Bollklubb's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iwo Robak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Klassisk Framtid's goal looked a bit too open when Alfons Kock came free, but Toke Panning reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 24 minutes Klassisk Framtid's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ove Sandström who took care of the corner kick. Toke Panning made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Iwo Robak sent off a good shot on target. Emil Jet was shown his second yellow card after 28 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Arrie Bollklubb booed when Klassisk Framtid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Jet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arrie Bollklubb's Iwo Robak got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mattias Håkansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anders Pike in the 46th minute of play. After the first half Klassisk Framtid were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anders Pike was the one to do the kick off. With an all-out effort, Klassisk Framtid's Mattias Håkansson threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Anders Pike, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, Arrie Bollklubb's Olof Holmberg got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 56thth minute of the game Anders Pike who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arrie Bollklubb's Mattias Håkansson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mattias Håkansson had great luck who in the 56thth minute grab hold of the ball when Anders Pike from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. If Albert Gunnarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
