Spectators: 7713 (Terracing: 5786, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 153) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Petter Ålberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute Kurt Kielberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes Stureplanspojkarna got a freekick which was hit by Carl Brenner. 15 minutes into the match, Stureplanspojkarna's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Kielberg came free, but Martin Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasmus Bergendahl took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Erruki. Martin Erruki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Nils-Emil Hermansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Martin Erruki made a huge save. Martin Erruki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Kielberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nils-Emil Hermansson got free with Martin Erruki in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Ben Hvarre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stureplanspojkarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Ben Hvarre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Bruhn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martin Erruki was a little too slow when Kurt Kielberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. Andy Hård charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andy Hård the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Njurunda IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Ben Hvarre shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Hvarre in the 34th minute of play forced Njurunda IK's goalkeeper Rune Bruhn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 37 played minutes Stureplanspojkarna got a freekick which was hit by Ben Hvarre. After 40 minutes of play, Njurunda IK's Petter Ålberg made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Erruki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rune Bruhn came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Stureplanspojkarna's Carl Brenner. But to his dismay, Carl Brenner quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ben Hvarre stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Martin Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Kielberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Petter Ålberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Erruki was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice moves Thomas Andreasson could shoot a difficult shot in the 61st minute, which Rune Bruhn however easily saved by the left post. Martin Erruki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kurt Kielberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Stureplanspojkarna's goal looked a bit too open when Kurt Kielberg came free, but Martin Erruki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Utter in the 73rd minute of play forced Stureplanspojkarna's goalkeeper Martin Erruki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Erruki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Kielberg in the 76th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Petter Ålberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Domingos Luix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stureplanspojkarna's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingos Luix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Bruhn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Stureplanspojkarna defense, Kurt Kielberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martin Erruki. The Stureplanspojkarna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martin Erruki should have stopped the shot. Rune Bruhn was a little too slow when Erling Beckeman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 4-2. Ola Håkansson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rune Bruhn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the game, Njurunda IK's Kurt Kielberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Erruki made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Njurunda IK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Stureplanspojkarna had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
