After a rather tough play, Smulniki's Hieronim Sawicki got a free kick in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Smulniki defense, Aleksander Ligas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jedrzej Naskrent. The Smulniki fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jedrzej Naskrent should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute, Nowość's Lech Dziedziak ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jedrzej Naskrent. Jedrzej Naskrent yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Bernard Gdaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jedrzej Naskrent tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jedrzej Naskrent didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aleksander Ligas went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute Borys Falkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobald Waselenczuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th match minute, Smulniki was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Tylenda to maneuver through the defense. Aleksander Ligas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 30 minutes into the match, Nowość's goal looked a bit too open when Borys Falkowski came free, but Teobald Waselenczuk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Smulniki booed when Nowość was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Paprotny didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teobald Waselenczuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Borys Falkowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute, Nowość's Artur Paprotny dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. In the 43rd minute, Artur Paprotny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Janusz Tworek to make the kick off. Borys Falkowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Teobald Waselenczuk made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janusz Tworek in the 53rd minute of play forced Nowość's goalkeeper Teobald Waselenczuk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute, Artur Paprotny hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobald Waselenczuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janusz Tworek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jedrzej Naskrent made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernard Gdaniec in the 61st minute of play. Nowość's Aleksander Ligas got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teobald Waselenczuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Janusz Tworek's shot from short distance in the 64th minute.
