When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Herbert Chazen made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zbigniew Oleszak got free with Stanislaw Niemojewski in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Zbigniew Oleszak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, WARTA's Jurand Kosiorek ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stanislaw Niemojewski. Stanislaw Niemojewski yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When the final whistle sounded WARTA left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Boca Juniors.
