But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zbyszek Buczko couldn't finish the play. Godzieby's Ksawery Kostrzewa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafal Jarek in the 74th minute of play. Zbyszek Buczko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cezary Mirowski hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Zbyszek Buczko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, Godzieby was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stasio Fleszar to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Godzieby eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
