The supporters of ARTY ŻOLIBORZ booed when KKS Lech Żory SSA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Sakowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's Aleksander Rakowski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Zbigniew Flis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 15 minutes into the match, ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's goalkeeper Bartosz Bronkala had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludomir Wodaszak. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Erland in the 17th minute of play forced KKS Lech Żory SSA's goalkeeper Zbigniew Flis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ARTY ŻOLIBORZ were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after KKS Lech Żory SSA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Aleksander Rakowski took the corner. The corner ended in Boleslaw Nigbor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KKS Lech Żory SSA's Zbigniew Flis did a great save. After 23 minutes of play, ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's Edward Cichowski made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zbigniew Flis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the KKS Lech Żory SSA defense, Gwidon Erland kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zbigniew Flis. The KKS Lech Żory SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zbigniew Flis should have stopped the shot. Bartosz Bronkala made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ludomir Wodaszak in the 30th minute. Dobromir Dziechciowski made in the 37th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ludomir Wodaszak. KKS Lech Żory SSA's Zbigniew Flis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gwidon Erland in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute of the match, Aureliusz Witwicki tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bartosz Bronkala saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's Edward Cichowski got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Beniamin Kilar hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute, Aleksander Rakowski sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and KKS Lech Żory SSA's Zbigniew Flis didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Erland to strike the kick off in the second half. Bartosz Bronkala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Oryl in the 66th minute of play. Bartosz Bronkala took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliusz Witwicki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zbigniew Flis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gwidon Erland in the 81st minute. Boleslaw Oryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ARTY ŻOLIBORZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ludomir Wodaszak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. With a little luck, KKS Lech Żory SSA's Zbigniew Flis got control of the ball when Michal Kordalewski tried to sneak it across the goal line. KKS Lech Żory SSA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
