In the 7thth minute of the game Zbyszko Zurawski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but WYBRZEZE's Przemyslaw Hludzenski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Lechia Gdańsk booed when WYBRZEZE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kardo Kasimir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Hludzenski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Zurawski in the 12th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cyprian Birkenhagen in the 16th minute of play forced WYBRZEZE's goalkeeper Przemyslaw Hludzenski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Przemyslaw Hludzenski came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Lechia Gdańsk's Korneliusz Ciupierdo. But to his dismay, Korneliusz Ciupierdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 36 minutes into the match, WYBRZEZE's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Ciupierdo came free, but Przemyslaw Hludzenski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. WYBRZEZE's Przemyslaw Hludzenski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Zurawski in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, WYBRZEZE's goal looked a bit too open when Korneliusz Ciupierdo came free, but Przemyslaw Hludzenski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cyprian Birkenhagen scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Przemyslaw Hludzenski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kardo Kasimir was the one to do the kick off. Przemyslaw Hludzenski made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Tomasz Galaska sent off a good shot on target. Przemyslaw Hludzenski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Korneliusz Ciupierdo went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After 61 played minutes WYBRZEZE got a freekick which was hit by Stanislaw Barna. If Korneliusz Ciupierdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Przemyslaw Hludzenski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zbyszko Zurawski in the 63rd minute. Kardo Kasimir was shown his second yellow card after 64 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, WYBRZEZE's Stanislaw Barna got a free kick in the 66th minute. WYBRZEZE's Przemyslaw Hludzenski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zbyszko Zurawski in the 68th minute of play. Korneliusz Ciupierdo in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Przemyslaw Hludzenski, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of WYBRZEZE booed when Lechia Gdańsk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomasz Galaska didn't get a good kick on the ball. Przemyslaw Hludzenski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Korneliusz Ciupierdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 81 minutes into the game, Pastor Gumaro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-4. Remigiusz Chludzinski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With an all-out effort, Lechia Gdańsk's Przemyslaw Hludzenski threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cyprian Birkenhagen, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 91st minute, Korneliusz Ciupierdo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes, Korneliusz Ciupierdo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lechia Gdańsk and the WYBRZEZE players grew even worse after the yellow card. When the match was over Lechia Gdańsk could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than WYBRZEZE throughout the match.
