Ciro Mameli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Juan-Carlos Viejo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After some careless play in the Bałtyk Koszalin defense, Konrad Olchowy kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan-Carlos Viejo. The Bałtyk Koszalin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan-Carlos Viejo should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Ponure Knury had played much better football throughout.
