Maciej Smuskiewicz came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Onyx's Edgar Michnik. But to his dismay, Edgar Michnik quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Edgar Michnik struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Maciej Smuskiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onyx. After 9 played minutes Onyx got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Barycz. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Bădilescu in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zdzislaw Domarecki saved Onyx from getting behind. Zdzislaw Domarecki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Bădilescu in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the match, Marathon Kraków's goal looked a bit too open when Jurand Jaraczeski came free, but Maciej Smuskiewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Szymon Zagorski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Zdzislaw Domarecki when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ludomil Cichocki during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Marathon Kraków's Ludomil Cichocki got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the Marathon Kraków defense, Edgar Michnik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maciej Smuskiewicz. The Marathon Kraków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maciej Smuskiewicz should have stopped the shot. 27 minutes into the game, one of Onyx:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Marathon Krakóws' Zdzislaw Domarecki just managed to throw himself towards the right post in the 28thth minute after David Bădilescus penalty, and stop a certain goal. Marathon Kraków were awarded a corner in the 30th minute after Onyx's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edmund Szkarpiak took the corner. The corner led to Marathon Kraków's David Bădilescu getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Jurand Jaraczeski scored 0-3 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maciej Smuskiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th minute, Edgar Michnik made a precise shot to the right of Maciej Smuskiewicz. Marathon Kraków's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. After a rather tough play, Marathon Kraków's David Bădilescu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Emrys Hannah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Jurand Jaraczeski sped through Marathon Kraków's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maciej Smuskiewicz.

Onyx's Piotr Zahemski was substituted for Edgar Michnik. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jurand Jaraczeski to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Onyx getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Emrys Hannah hit a great ball. Wojciech Barycz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Maciej Smuskiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jurand Jaraczeski in the 57th minute. When Marathon Kraków's Szymon Zagorski in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Onyx's goalie prevented a goal. David Bădilescu got his second yellow card in the match during the 60th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 60th minute, David Bădilescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Piotr Zahemski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maciej Smuskiewicz came out and tried to block the shot, but Piotr Zahemski slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 61st minute. Onyx's Jurand Jaraczeski came free and shot a quick shot against goal 64 minutes in the game, fortunately Maciej Smuskiewicz had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Piotr Zahemski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomasz Gumaro kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Onyx's Piotr Zahemski ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maciej Smuskiewicz. Maciej Smuskiewicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Maciej Smuskiewicz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Konrad Raschke. Jurand Jaraczeski scored 0-8 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maciej Smuskiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marathon Kraków's Maciej Smuskiewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Marathon Kraków from getting a goal against them. 97 minutes into the game, Onyx's Jurand Jaraczeski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maciej Smuskiewicz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. The Marathon Kraków fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Onyx were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
