After 6 played minutes Rækvik FF got a freekick which was hit by Alan Sogn. Sven Skjerping hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Peder Hamre's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Myhr read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 27th minute Jon-Inge Sandal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gard Nordheim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Daniel Myhr made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julius Bakker in the 28th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Julius Bakker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Sven Skjerping came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Skjerping in the 41st minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Kiken IF's goal looked a bit too open when Alan Sogn came free, but Gard Nordheim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Myhr showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julius Bakker, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With a little luck, Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim got control of the ball when Sven Skjerping tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Per-Kristian Bekkelund fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rækvik FF's protests and gave Per-Kristian Bekkelund a yellow card for diving instead. After 55 played minutes Rækvik FF got a freekick which was hit by Per-Kristian Bekkelund. In the 66th minute, Sven Skjerping left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rækvik FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With an all-out effort, Rækvik FF's Gard Nordheim threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jon-Inge Sandal, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 77th minute Julius Bakker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Myhr saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Peder Hamre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peder Hamre in the 82nd minute of play forced Rækvik FF's goalkeeper Daniel Myhr to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Sven Skjerping reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gard Nordheim. The goal made the score 0-2. If Peder Hamre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiken IF's Gard Nordheim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Sogn in the 95th minute of play. Gard Nordheim made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Sven Skjerping sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rækvik FF walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
