The supporters of Øyjordi booed when Øyeren IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Sørum didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 48 minutes of play, Øyjordi's Raymond Løvold made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vidar Rørstad was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vegard Sandersen was the one to do the kick off. When Tor-Arne Taule came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Øyjordi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tor-Arne Taule couldn't finish the play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Løvold couldn't finish the play. 98 minutes into the match, Øyeren IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tor-Arne Taule came free, but Vidar Rørstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vidar Rørstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raymond Løvold, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute.
