Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ludvig Sikveland started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Brimnes BK getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Ludvig Sikveland hit a great ball. Hans Skålevik scored 0-1 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Gjersøe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Morten Ulriksen hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Ludvig Sikveland took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Gjersøe. Benjamin Gjersøe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jørgen Rokne received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Sebastian Melbye tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mårem BK's Benjamin Gjersøe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Finn Lundberg in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Bruland in the 36th minute of play forced Mårem BK's goalkeeper Benjamin Gjersøe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benjamin Gjersøe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Finn Lundberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hans Skålevik in the 41st minute of play forced Mårem BK's goalkeeper Benjamin Gjersøe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Brimnes BK's Ludvig Sikveland nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjamin Gjersøe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Nesset was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Mårem BK got a freekick which was hit by Morten Bjerga. After a rather tough play, Brimnes BK's Hans Skålevik got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Jon Nesset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Jon Nesset had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sebastian Melbye. Brimnes BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jon Nesset was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Jon Volle took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 65th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Melbye. Brimnes BK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Brimnes BK booed when Mårem BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Nesset didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Mårem BK's Jon Volle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Melbye made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Finn Lundberg got free with Benjamin Gjersøe in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 75 minutes, Morten Bjerga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mårem BK and the Brimnes BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Mårem BK got a freekick which was hit by Morten Bjerga. Finn Lundberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Benjamin Gjersøe made a huge save. The supporters of Brimnes BK booed when Mårem BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Morten Ulriksen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 81 minutes of play, Brimnes BK's Daniel Bruland made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Gjersøe was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Jon Nesset had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Skålevik took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Benjamin Gjersøe. Benjamin Gjersøe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-5. Brimnes BK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
