Spectators: 8024 (Terracing: 6020, Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jostein Bergland got the match started through his kick off. If Jostein Bergland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 8 played minutes Korssund got a freekick which was hit by Tales Porto. In the 9thth minute of the game Erik Asheim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korssund's Conrado Arias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Didrik Dagger got free with Torkel Helgesen in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor-Arne Barstad, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Bjørgo's Torkel Helgesen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jostein Bergland in the 15th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Bjørgo's Kjell Weiseth got a free kick in the 17th minute. 23 minutes into the game, Bjørgo's Kjell Weiseth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Conrado Arias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Korssund's zone, Kjell Weiseth stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Conrado Arias came out of the goal and Kjell Weiseth tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ole-Gunnar Brenne in the 41st minute of play forced Bjørgo's goalkeeper Torkel Helgesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Korssund's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Asheim came free, but Conrado Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Korssund's Roar Winther got a free kick in the 45th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Kjell Weiseth made the kick off in the second half. Korssund's Didrik Dagger got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 63rd match minute, Bjørgo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Østerud to maneuver through the defense. Jostein Bergland recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Korssund's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erik Asheim fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Roar Winther's late challenge caught a Bjørgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roar Winther helped the player get up and apologised. After 82 played minutes Korssund got a freekick which was hit by Roar Winther. Didrik Dagger struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Torkel Helgesen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Korssund. The Korssund supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bjørgo's performance. The match ended with a win for Bjørgo.
