After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Asbjørn Sigurdsen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brufoss IL's supporters rose to their feet, but Asbjørn Sigurdsen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Kjelstad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the game, August Friestad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Martin Kjelstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Øyvind Molvær hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by August Friestad in the 16th minute of play forced Club Real Cochabamba's goalkeeper Martin Kjelstad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brufoss IL were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Club Real Cochabamba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. August Bergsland took the corner. The corner ended in August Bergsland almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Club Real Cochabamba's Martin Kjelstad did a great save. 20 minutes into the game, Brufoss IL's August Friestad nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Martin Kjelstad made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Jakob Lode hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 27th match minute, Club Real Cochabamba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Øyvind Molvær to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Brufoss IL getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Jakob Lode hit a great ball. A hard shot by Øyvind Molvær from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Leif Opdal's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Martin Kjelstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asbjørn Sigurdsen in the 31st minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, August Friestad notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Club Real Cochabamba's Martin Kjelstad. Martin Kjelstad was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 36 minutes into the match, Club Real Cochabamba's goal looked a bit too open when August Bergsland came free, but Martin Kjelstad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brufoss IL's Leif Opdal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Brufoss IL from getting a goal against them. Morten Tømmervik's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leif Opdal firmly grabbed it by the left post. Martin Kjelstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asbjørn Sigurdsen went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-6 was the resulting score. Martin Kjelstad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Bergsland, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Severin Storås to make the kick off. Martin Kjelstad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from August Friestad went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-7 was the resulting score. When Asbjørn Sigurdsen fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brufoss IL's protests and gave Asbjørn Sigurdsen a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Real Cochabamba booed when Brufoss IL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asbjørn Sigurdsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd match minute, Brufoss IL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nils-Arne Bruvik to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, August Friestad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-8. Martin Kjelstad was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 71 minutes, August Friestad made it 0-9 with a short kick to the right side. Jakob Lode scored 0-10 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Kjelstad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Martin Kjelstad came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Brufoss IL's August Friestad. But to his dismay, August Friestad quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. 88 minutes into the match, August Friestad dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martin Kjelstad, 0-12. In the 91st minute August Friestad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Kjelstad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Kjelstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Friestad in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Club Real Cochabamba getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Runar Bryne hit a great ball. Martin Kjelstad made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from August Friestad in the 96th minute of play. The Club Real Cochabamba fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Brufoss IL were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
