Asylmottaket FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Torgeir Paulsrud was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thomas Holtet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Stensrud having to interfere. Thomas Holtet did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Markus Stensrud 28 minutes into the match. Daniel Leonhardsen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Markus Stensrud having to interfere. SK Skrenten's Markus Stensrud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save SK Skrenten from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute, Torgeir Paulsrud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SK Skrenten fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Eide in the 43rd minute of play forced Asylmottaket FK's goalkeeper Nils-Christian Vågen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Torgeir Paulsrud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Nils-Christian Vågen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Asylmottaket FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Skrenten were winning 1-2.

Severin Marstein's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Markus Stensrud read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Thomas Holtet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Asylmottaket FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Holtet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Severin Marstein during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of SK Skrenten booed when Asylmottaket FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severin Marstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute Torgeir Paulsrud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Christian Vågen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Torgeir Paulsrud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 72 minutes, Jonathan Grønnestad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Asylmottaket FK and the SK Skrenten players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, SK Skrenten's Torgeir Paulsrud ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nils-Christian Vågen. Nils-Christian Vågen yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. SK Skrenten's Markus Stensrud played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severin Marstein in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Severin Marstein notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of SK Skrenten's Markus Stensrud. Markus Stensrud was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Endre Baardsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nils-Christian Vågen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, SK Skrenten's Nils-Christian Vågen threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Torgeir Paulsrud, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Asylmottaket FK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mathias Tomren hit a great ball. SK Skrenten's Endre Baardsen got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Asylmottaket FK supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SK Skrenten's performance. The match ended with a win for SK Skrenten.
