Fabian Stellini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. A collision led to Cottonera Corinthians getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Andrew Psaila hit a great ball. Cottonera Corinthians's Martin Dougall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Cottonera Corinthians from getting a goal against them. Etienne Mamo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fabian Stellini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Escania Tiflis Nórdicos's Andre Lanfranco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Martin Dougall. Martin Dougall yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Andre Lanfranco received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Martin Dougall came out and tried to block the shot, but Andre Lanfranco slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 38th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Etienne Seracino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Martin Dougall. That made the score 3-1 in the 42 minute of play. Escania Tiflis Nórdicos's Mike D'Agata shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Martin Dougall but with some difficulty. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Martin Dougall came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Escania Tiflis Nórdicos's Andre Lanfranco. But to his dismay, Andre Lanfranco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Martin Dougall stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Etienne Seracino's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. Andre Lanfranco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Dougall having to interfere. Daniel Bondin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Stellini having to interfere.
