Angelo Cugini went to the cornerflag to take it. Achille Lemma's late challenge caught a Pessione's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Achille Lemma helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pessione's Carmine Cesarini got a free kick in the 39th minute. A hard shot by Amerigo Del Bello from long distance, 41 minutes into the match, got Diego Ragusa's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 42nd play minutes Fedele Mazzetti shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Diego Ragusa and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Pessione getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. After 52 played minutes ROCCACANNUCCIA got a freekick which was hit by Alvaro Armellini. After 53 played minutes, Pessione's Angelo Olmi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Armando Giacomozzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pessione reached it. 57 minutes into the match, Fedele Mazzetti had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diego Ragusa. Pessione's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fedele Mazzetti was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Dave Zaccardi kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dave Zaccardi during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of ROCCACANNUCCIA booed when Pessione was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Zaccardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 72nd minute Alessandro Berardini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Giacomozzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pessione's zone, Achille Lemma stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diego Ragusa came out of the goal and Achille Lemma tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Ragusa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fedele Mazzetti's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Fedele Mazzetti scored 5-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Diego Ragusa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ROCCACANNUCCIA's Achille Lemma got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 minutes, Carmine Cesarini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pessione and the ROCCACANNUCCIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carmine Cesarini kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Fedele Mazzetti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. ROCCACANNUCCIA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
