Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edoardo Spitaleri to make the kick off. When Edoardo Spitaleri fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SANTANDREA's protests and gave Edoardo Spitaleri a yellow card for diving instead. Edoardo Spitaleri kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Demetrio Caruso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Valea Izei and the SANTANDREA players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carter Prato got free with Cristoforo Scivittaro in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
