Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Falcioni to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Navacchio's Claudio Restaino got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Camillo Righi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. Attilio Melucci thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Beppe Sorge, a very annoying self made goal in the 67th minute which led to 1-0. Anselmo Tiberio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Ravina defense, Șerban Mereacre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beppe Sorge. The Ravina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beppe Sorge should have stopped the shot. Beppe Sorge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
