The referee ignored Scios's protests and gave Jean-Philippe Greffier a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Jean-Philippe Greffier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Grosbois showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ewan Carrat, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Jean-Philippe Greffier hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Ewan Carrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After 24 minutes of play, Scios's Honore Lesecq made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bérenger Oudin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 27 minutes into the game, Jonas Cathelin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. O.M's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Scios the free kick. In the 28th match minute, O.M was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Cathelin to maneuver through the defense. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bérenger Oudin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mathis Marrec got free with Rene Grosbois in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

If Mathis Marrec had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ewan Carrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mathis Marrec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Grosbois having to interfere. Gabriel Portet kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Bérenger Oudin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prosper Romieu, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Scios's Salim Guerineau was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bérenger Oudin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Bérenger Oudin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honore Lesecq in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, O.M's Jonas Cathelin got a free kick in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mathieu Augier during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 79 minutes into the match, Scios's goal looked a bit too open when Ewan Carrat came free, but Rene Grosbois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clement Bonis hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Mathis Marrec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Grosbois having to interfere. If Honore Lesecq had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scios's Clement Bonis got his second yellow card of the match in the 85th minute. The referee ordered Clement Bonis off the ground. After 86 played minutes Scios got a freekick which was hit by Clement Bonis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ewan Carrat in the 95th minute of play forced Scios's goalkeeper Rene Grosbois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honore Lesecq charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Honore Lesecq the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of O.M booed when Scios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honore Lesecq didn't get a good kick on the ball. O.M's Mathis Marrec got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Scios had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
